BioPorto’s Response to COVID-19

Like many companies around the world, BioPorto is monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 and seeks to support its customers, communities, partners, and employees during this unprecedented time. Based on the recommendations of local health authorities in the areas where we work, BioPorto has taken actions to limit the spread of the virus while maintaining its operations. In Denmark, after a period of working in reduced shifts, we re-opened the office on April 20 and are currently operating at normal capacity, providing customary response and turnaround times. In the US, we are following state guidances, maintaining regular business hours.


As a diagnostics company, we are also seeking to leverage our expertise to help in the battle against COVID-19. We have initiated several research programs, in particular, a co-development effort with the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) to create a simple, point-of-care assay designed to identify the SARS-CoV-2 virus in under 10 minutes.  Please visit our news page for future updates.
