Liquid
Solvent
0.01 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.4, containing 0.5 M NaCl and 15 mM sodium azide
Conjugation
Unconjugated BSA free
Storage
4-8ºC without exposure to light. No precautions necessary during handling.
Target
Factor H is a regulatory factor of the alternative pathway of complement activation. Factor H is a glycoprotein consisting of a single polypeptide chain with a molecular mass of 150 kDa.

Application

ELISA: GAU 018-03 can be used as a capture antibody in sandwich ELISA with GAU 020-03 as a biotinylated detection antibody. (1, 2) This antibody pair specifically detects full length 150 kDa factor H and does not cross-react with the truncated forms of factor H. (1)

Immunoblot (human serum) with GAU 018-03 and GAU 020-03.

WB: GAU 020-03 can be used in Western blotting.

Human duodenum stained with GAU 018-03.
