ELISA	ABS 026-04 binds free human a-CGRP in solution. ABS 026-04 (as biotinylated detection antibody) forms a sandwich ELISA pair with ABS 026-05 (as capture antibody) for measuring human a-CGRP, giving a detection limit of 0.13 nmol/L in an unoptimized buffer assay.
IHC	ABS 026-04 works well in IHC on paraffin embedded tissue.
	Paraffin embedded rat tissue stained with ABS 026-04 Anti-α-CGRP diluted 1/400 in 1% BSA/PBS and incubated over night.

Specificity
Specificity	ABS 026-04 binds human α-CGRP. Based on inhibition ELISA, ABS 026-04 cross-reacts up to 12% with human β-CGRP and human amylin, while there is little (<4%) cross-reaction with rat α-CGRP.The epitope lies within residues 19-37 of human α-CGRP.
